La Serge

STORY OF A TRILOGY

La Sergue is a unique vintage.

An essential reference of the appellation, La Sergue* is a trilogy story that begins with the isolation of three micro-terroirs of Lalande de Pomerol: La Mirande, La Margaux, and La Pignière. A blend of three grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, harvested at perfect maturity, vinified in foudres and by terroir units, then aged in barrels before being blended to reflect the characteristics specific to each year.

La Sergue then synthesizes the quintessence of the vintage from each of these places. Forged to withstand the test of time, additional aging in the bottle is carried out to allow it to fully express itself.

    A word from the sommelier

Very intense color, almost black. We find the typical aromatic character of LA SERGUE with added notes of baked apple and old dark rum. The attack on the palate is firm, the volume in the mouth is pleasant and very enveloping.

Fruity, intense, peony aromas, blackcurrant aromas, raspberry aromas, blackberry aromas, vanilla aromas, chocolate aromas, mocha aromas, toast aromas.

Deep, rich, ample, fruit notes, spice notes, fresh tannins, soft tannins, supple, strong intensity, long persistence.
