A MICRO VINTAGE

L'Esprit d'Aliénor is a small-production wine, a blend of Merlot Noir (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%) from a combination of clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soils in the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation. Predominantly fruity and beautifully fresh, Esprit d'Aliénor is a generous and velvety wine with supple, delicate tannins, very enjoyable in its youth.

Winemaking and aging

Traditional Bordeaux vinification, followed by one year of aging in used barrels.

Clayey-sandy soil

Tasting

Superb color, an aroma combining that of wild berries with notes of pink peony; the tannin is not powerful, without being light, but it is particularly refreshing with a finish of citrus peel.
